Stepping on the scale doesn’t bother me like it used to. I know I am where I need to be by the way my clothes fit (I have gone from a size 8 to a size 2), and by the way I feel ( I no longer wake up achy and feeling older than I am). Using exercise equipment is no longer intimidating because Darryl has taught me how to use it!
I decided to try out for the Houston Texans Cheerleading squad. Since we only had a couple of months to prepare for the tryouts, it was crunch time. We focused on improving my flexibility and my overall physique. By the time tryouts arrived, I was down to 120 lbs and a size 2. Thanks to Darryl I am healthier on the inside and out.
After one year and one day on his new diet, Ali successfully lost 100 pounds. He now weighs 154, and he can finally wear the designer clothes that he loves.
While most would not think that a professional caddie needs to be physically fit to perform their job, I would ask you to reconsider your position. On average, a tour bag weighs 44 pounds and it can exceed 60 pounds after a good storm. A caddie must carry the bag approximately 8 miles each day, six or seven days per week.
Darryl customized a fitness program focused on flexibility, conditioning, and the strengthening of specific muscles and/or muscle groups to improve my performance on the course and that has allowed me to achieve a childhood dream, to caddy on the PGA Tour.
Chris' biggest accomplishment of his golf career was winning the inaugural Speed Golf World Championship in 2012. Golf already requires flexibility, strength, power, muscle balance, and postural stability, but having to get through 18 holes add a dramatically increased cardiovascular component as well.
Personal training was crucial for me to develop the dedication needed for losing weight and getting back into shape. Darryl helped me find this dedication through the combination of his training skills, motivation, and personalized fitness program.

Why Cheat Yourself? - Catherine Pells
3 words Darryl only had to say once when I wimped out during one of our initial training sessions. I started training with Darryl in February 26, 2009 after I was diagnosed with pre diabetes and I continually repeat the phrase to myself during our training sessions. While impatient to see faster results I am impressed with the fact I no longer take diabetes medication, how I feel, my energy level, increase in lean muscle mass and how my clothes fit. I appreciate Darryl’s “make it work” attitude with coordinating training sessions around my work schedule, his sense of humor and the fact my health has improved.
For the first time on May 2nd this year I competed in the Warrior Dash 3.51 mile race with 12 obstacles; including mud and fire. I almost chickened out, but with Darryl’s encouraging words “compete at your own pace” decided to go for it. I ranked 168 of the 269 women runners competing in my division completing the course in 49 minutes. 6,998 people competed that day, the weather was perfect, and the personal sense of accomplishment I experienced was wonderful.
